Hopewell Valley Tournament: A Cut Above The Rest
(Youth1) – To many Americans, Memorial Day weekend is a time for going to the beach, barbecuing, and celebrating the arrival of summer, but to the members of Hopewell Valley Soccer Association it's time for one thing, the 25th Annual Hopewell Valley Memorial Day Soccer Tournament.
Last year was impressive, with over 160 teams from NJ, NY, PA, and MD participating, but this year the numbers are even higher, and set to be the most explosive and deeply talented collection in the tournaments history. Each team will be guaranteed their fair share of soccer, playing at least four games. Tournament directors will hand out participation medals to every player in the U8-U10 age groups, and 1st and 2nd place trophies to teams in the other age groups.
While there are many youth sports tournaments over Memorial Day weekend, only few have been around for 25 years and have the deep history of the Hopewell Valley Memorial Day Tournament. The efficiency of the tournament, quality of the teams, and location are just some of the reasons that put this tournament above the rest.
"We're a very user friendly tournament and want to offer the best experience possible. We have four different sites where the games will be played and they're all within walking distance," said Tournament Director, Greg Gravalis.
Youth1 will be on hand to cover all the soccer action from the tournament and is excited to be part of one of the finest run tournaments in country.
