#20 MBA Pride Elite

 

10MBAPrideEliteIn their USSSA games, the Pride are 19-10 and they have yet to win a tournament. However, they've shown very good signs in their last two. In the South Florida Super NIT, on their way to 2nd place, they went 4-1, only losing to the #10 ranked Pembroke Lakes Bulldogs. And although the Pride finished 3rd in their most recent, the Super NIT USSSA Tennessee, their numbers were even better. They went 3-1, scored 34 runs, and only allowed 8.

 

Roster: Jose Ciccarello, Omar Conoropo, Bryson Hutchinson, Jordan Ibarra, Anthony Labas, Charles Lopez, Mervyl Melendez, Robert Menendez, Miguel Mora, Onelio Perdomo, Moises Pichardo, William Rosado, Alec Sanchez, Chase Sanguinetti, Leudy Santana, Joseph Skinner, Corey Solomon, Oscar Vergez, and Huascar Ynoa.


#19 Mizuno Tampa Boltz

 

Mizuno

After 30 USSSA games, the Botlz have only dropped three, and they're an outstanding 7-1 against 14U teams. That loss came in their last tournament, the USSSA Mid-Florida Showcase 2K12, where they finished 4th.. But prior to that, the Boltz had won three tournaments and at one point had a 16 game winning streak.

 

The team includes Holden Bridge, Nathan Chevalier, Jared Desantolo, Graham Hoffman, Brandon Howlett, Ryan Mejia, Patrick Morris, Spencer Myers, Harrison Sartor, Dakoda Shook, Ethan Thomas and Kevin Velez.


#18 Rawlings Arkansas Prospects

 

In USSSA games the Prospects are 33-7 and a perfect 6-0 against 14U teams. They won their last three tournaments with a combined record of 15-1 and were impressive in multiple ways. In the Southeast Shootout they averaged over 10 runs a game. In the Spa City Classic NIT they only allowed 3 runs in four games. And in their most recent, the Mid South USSSA Super NIT, they beat the #3 ranked Upper Deck Cougars in the final.


#17 Frozen Ropes Tigers Black

 

FRTigers13UIn their USSSA games, the Tigers are 41-6. They won their last tournament, the Omaha Cardinal Classic NIT rather easily, going 4-0 and only allowing 6 total runs. They scored double-digit runs in all but one game and in that one they scored 9. Even in their previous tournament, the 11th Annual OK-Texas Shootout, although they finished in 17th place, the Tigers were dominant. They went 6-1, scored more than twice the runs they gave up, and their only loss was 8-7.

 

The team includes Brett Daley, Aaron Gerdes, Simon Hay, Cale Hlavic, Trevor Jurjevich, Nicholas Kussman, Alec Lee, Kamen Mahoney, Ryan Mortiz, Duncan Oboyle, Christopher Ramsey and Joseph Roecker.


#16 South Florida Giants

 

SouthFLGiantsThe Giants are 52-10 in USSSA games. At one point this year they won three straight tournaments and seemed to be headed towards elite status. But since then they've finished 2nd, 3rd, and 5th, respectively. However, their numbers continue to be strong. In those three tournaments they went 10-4, scored 122 runs, and allowed just 38. Plus, two of those losses were to top #25 teams: Pembroke Lakes Bulldogs and the MBA Pride.

 

Roster: Matthew Alfonso, Eduardo Arteaga, Brandon Diaz, Bryan Diaz, Nicolas Fusco, Ricardo Jimenez, Ryan Margolis, John Merrill, Jan Rodriguez, Alec Sanchez, Andres Sanchez, Edward Surinach, Jordan Topps, Javier Valdes.
